Phoebe, Spangle's daughter, has inherited a lot of her mothers traits, especially her love for people. She, also, is convinced that the world loves her, and must want to speak to and make a fuss of her. She loved showing and had a blossoming show career which was sadly curtailed by illness. She regularly had bad bouts of colitis and in 2017 was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Since then she has had to be kept on a strict diet of less than 7% fat. This has not dampened her enthusiasm for life but this, and her high hip score, has meant that the decision was taken that she shouldn't be bred from. Having taken her out of the show ring, we pursued other pursuits including competition Obedience!! In 2021, Phoebe very suddenly went deaf. After her initial confusion, she has learnt to cope with it and is still as enthusiastic as ever to do training of any sort. She has learnt to do many things by 'sign language'. A lot of time you would not be aware that she cannot hear!
